Airplane lets you transform scripts, APIs, and SQL queries into apps for your team in minutes. If you have feature requests you'd like to see in future changelogs, reply and let us know!

This week we introduced a new schedules configuration UI, released Environments in beta, and introduced a schedules Pause/Resume button accessible from the Schedules page.

New schedules config UI

We now support two methods to specify schedules for your tasks. You can use the new Simple method to configure schedules using drop-downs or the previously-existing Cron method that uses cron syntax.

Environments (beta)

Environments allow you to manage separate execution environments with different configurations. You can now maintain isolated environments (e.g. staging and production) with your own tasks, runbooks, schedules, resources, and config variables. Environments are current available in a private beta; let us know if you'd like to try it out!

Schedules Pause/Resume button

You can now pause and resume schedules directly from the schedules page using the menu to the right of each schedule. Once a schedule is paused, you'll see that indicated under "Next run."

Improvements and fixes

  • Navigation settings update. We've simplified the side navigation and now your developer settings are grouped in one place.
  • Task definition diff when deploying. When deploying from the CLI, we now show you what's about to change.
  • Documentation style update. We've given docs.airplane.dev a slightly fresher coat of paint! Check out the new color scheme and layout.
