Airplane lets you transform scripts, APIs, and SQL queries into apps for your team in minutes. If you have feature requests you'd like to see in future changelogs, reply and let us know!

This week we rolled out group admins and the ability to use JavaScript templates to supply an array of recipients in email blocks.

Group admins

We recently rolled out a new role for group admins. If you want other users to have permission to manage which members are in a user group, you can now do so by making them a group admin. Group admins will be able to add or remove members from the group and change the group name. They will not be able to change the role granted to a group or to create new group admins.

You can add and remove group admins from the Group setting page. More details on groups in our docs.

Templating in email blocks

If you want more control over the recipients block, you can use JavaScript templates to supply an array of recipients. You can see more details on supported formats in our documentation for email message blocks.
