Since our last changelog, we've rolled out Airplane Views GA, Cloud Studio, and the ability to restrict task callers.
Airplane Views GA
Airplane Views is now generally available (GA)! The latest version of @airplane/views, v2.0.0, now includes frequently requested features, bug fixes, and type improvements. To access these features and improvements, ensure your CLI is updated to the latest version, and check out the changelog docs to learn more.
Cloud Studio
You can now access the remote version of Studio called Cloud Studio. Cloud Studio is a temporary workspace where you can test Airplane templates without a local setup. To get started, navigate to the template gallery, select any template, and click “Try this template” —> “Via Studio”.
Ability to restrict task callers
You can now restrict callers for tasks. This feature disables the ability to directly execute a task in the web UI and hides the task in the library. This is useful for tasks that should only be called by other tasks or views, preventing accidental executions. Check out the restrict callers docs to learn more!
Improvements and fixes
- Switch fallback environments easily. You can now switch fallback environments without restarting Studio. To do so, upgrade your CLI to the latest version, start Studio, and click on the “Fallback Env” dropdown to switch between environments easily.
