Below you’ll find six Kubernetes Slack workspaces that are free (and easy) to join. Each is designed for a different group of people, so check our descriptions to see which makes the most sense for you.
Main Kubernetes Slack community
This is the official Kubernetes Slack workspace that is run by Kubernetes.io and has over 100 thousand members—the most of any Kubernetes Slack group by far.
The main Kubernetes Slack workspace has channels for almost everything related to K8s, including announcements, job opportunities, preparing for interviews, novice questions, contributions, helm, kops, minikube, Jenkins, Podman, and much more.

CNCF Slack workspace
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) is a part of the nonprofit Linux Foundation that helps Kubernetes and other open-source projects operate.
The CNCF has a Slack workspace available for all community members and registrants for KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America.
There are a few main Kubernetes channels, most of which are focused on KubeCon. You can find announcements about the event, a help desk, a channel for talking to other members of the community, and a channel where sponsors can post their plans and giveaways.

IBM Cloud's Kubernetes Slack workspace
IBM Cloud also offers a Kubernetes Slack workspace that is available for anyone with a valid IBM Cloud account to join. If you are using IBM Cloud for Kubernetes, it’s a good idea to join this workspace where you can ask questions and have discussions about Kubernetes with IBM employees and other customers.
To join, you’ll need a valid IBM Cloud account, which is free to create (though you’ll need to provide credit card information so they can confirm your identity). After that, go to this link and enter your email to request to join.
Cilium & eBPF Slack community
Cilium is open-source software that allows for network connectivity between container workloads via eBPF.
The Cilium & eBPF Slack workspace is one of the largest Slack communities currently available with over 8,000 members. In the workspace, you can ask questions and chat with Cilium devs and other users.

Kubernetes Canada Slack group
If you work with Kubernetes and live in Canada, you should join the Kubernetes Canada Slack workspace.
You’ll find over 1,000 other Canadian K8s users in this group where you can ask questions and discuss Kubernetes. You can also learn about meetups that happen all over Canada, including Kitchener-Waterloo, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, and Toronto.

Kubernauts Slack workspace
Kubernauts is a training and qualification program to help individuals become a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Kubernauts has a Slack workspace with over 3,000 members. It includes various channels, including a dedicated CKA channel where you can get help with your journey to becoming a CKA.
