Reading Kubernetes newsletters is a great way to stay on top of the latest news and updates about the technology. Though it was only open-sourced in 2015, there are already many newsletters that exclusively or primarily talk about Kubernetes.

Below you’ll find 6 Kubernetes newsletters that you can subscribe to today to make sure you don’t miss out on any important updates.

1) Last Week in Kubernetes Development

Last Week in Kubernetes Development (LWKD) is a weekly Kubernetes newsletter that focuses on recent code activity in Kubernetes, including merges, deprecations, version updates, release schedules, and more.

You can subscribe and see past editions of the newsletter on the LWKD website.

2) CNCF's kubeweekly

The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) is a part of The Linux Foundation that owns Kubernetes and helps the open-source technology operate.

The CNCF’s KubeWeekly newsletter is curated by Kubernetes engineers and includes links to the best Kubernetes articles published in the last week, news about Kubernetes-related events such as KubeCon, and information about upcoming webinars.

You can sign up for KubeWeekly and view past newsletters here. You can also submit article ideas by emailing [email protected].

3) Learnk8s newsletter

Learnk8s is a site providing Kubernetes training for engineers through online courses. The company also offers the Learnk8s Newsletter that delivers Kubernetes news, articles, and resources to your inbox.

You sign up for the newsletter on the Learnk8s site here.

4) Kubelist newsletter

kubelist—which was created by Replicated, Shipyard, and snyk—offers two things: a Kubernetes newsletter and a Kubernetes podcast.

The newsletter goes out at random intervals but there is usually at least one per week. Within each, you can find information about the latest kubelist podcast episode, a curated list of the best articles from the past few weeks, and the (often funny) Tweet of the week.

You can sign up for the kubelist Newsletter here and check out past issues here.

5) Magalix’s Kubernetes & Cloud Native Computing Newsletter

Magalix offers cloud security and compliance for DevOps teams. The company also offers the Kubernetes & Cloud Native Computing Newsletter that goes over cloud-native security, Kubernetes, and more.

You can sign up for Magalix’s newsletter here.

6) Learn cloud native newsletter

Learn Cloud Native provides resources for anyone who builds and manages software and much of the content is focused on Kubernetes.

The site also offers a short newsletter that covers recent articles, podcasts, and videos in the cloud-native space. Learn Cloud Native releases the newsletter at irregular intervals—anywhere from once a week to once a month.

You can signup for the newsletter here.‍
